故事：

深深的海底，住著一隻美人魚。
Deep under the sea lived a mermaid.

有一天，她想看看海面上的光。
One day, she longed to see the light above the surface.

她向上游，穿過浪花，浮出了海面。
She swam upward through the waves and rose to the surface.

陽光多麼溫和，海面閃閃發亮。
The sunlight was gentle, and the sea shimmered.

就在這時，她聽見沙灘傳來滴答、滴答的聲音。
Just then, she heard tick-tock, tick-tock from the shore.

她游近一看，發現一個時鐘半埋在沙裡。
She swam closer and found a clock half-buried in the sand.

美人魚把時鐘抱起來，貼近耳邊聽。
The mermaid lifted the clock and held it close to her ear.

滴答聲裡，竟然藏著音樂。
Inside the ticking, there was music.

音樂輕輕說：我是音樂國的王子。
The music whispered, “I am the prince of the Music Kingdom.”

王子說：女巫想嫁給我，但我拒絕了她，她就把我變成時鐘。
“A witch wished to marry me,” said the prince. “I refused, so she turned me into a clock.”

王子又說：要破除魔法，必須抱住我不放，並找回七把秘密鑰匙。
“To break the spell,” he continued, “you must hold on to me and find the seven secret keys.”

美人魚點點頭，緊緊抱著時鐘，不讓它掉回沙裡。
The mermaid nodded and hugged the clock tightly, not letting it sink back into the sand.

時鐘滴答滴答，好像在給她提示。
Tick-tock, tick-tock—the clock seemed to be giving her a hint.

美人魚好奇地看著時鐘。她從沒看過時鐘，卻看見裡面有兩隻「手」。
She stared at the clock in wonder. She had never seen a clock before, but she saw two “hands” inside it.

她想：原來時鐘也有手。
She thought, “So the clock has hands, too.”

她伸出自己的兩隻手，試著去「握住」那兩根指針，像在握手。
She reached out with both hands and tried to “hold” the two clock hands, like a handshake.

她開心地大喊：手拉手！
She cried happily, “Hand in hand!”

就在那一刻，兩把鑰匙忽然掉了下來：一把寫著 sol，一把寫著 la。
At that moment, two keys suddenly fell out—one marked sol, and one marked la.

美人魚撿起鑰匙，放進小小的袋子裡。
She picked them up and tucked them into a small pouch.

沙灘上，竟然出現一個箭頭的痕跡，指向前方。
On the sand, an arrow-shaped mark appeared, pointing ahead.

美人魚順著方向望去，看見不遠處有一座小島。
Following the arrow, she saw a small island not far away.

她非常興奮，抱緊時鐘，立刻向前游去。
Excited, she hugged the clock and swam forward at once.

游著游著，時鐘突然唱起音樂：fa fa fa。
As she swam, the clock suddenly sang: fa fa fa.

小島邊有三朵大大的黃花，在風裡點點頭。
Near the island, three big yellow flowers nodded in the breeze.

美人魚指著花。突然，花開了，掉出一把鑰匙：fa。
She pointed at the flowers. Suddenly they bloomed, and a key fell out: fa.

美人魚把 fa 收好，心裡亮了一點。
She kept fa safely, and her heart felt a little brighter.

時鐘又唱了兩個音：mi mi。
The clock sang two notes again: mi mi.

美人魚轉頭，聽見嗡嗡嗡——有兩隻蜜蜂正忙著採蜜。
She turned and heard bzzz-bzzz—two bees were busily gathering nectar.

美人魚指著蜜蜂。蜜蜂飛起來，掉下一把鑰匙：mi。
She pointed at the bees. They lifted into the air, and a key dropped: mi.

美人魚把 mi 放好，抱著時鐘，繼續往前游。
She tucked mi away, hugged the clock, and swam on.

正當她想慢下來休息，時鐘忽然緊張地唱了一個音：re！
Just as she slowed to rest, the clock sang urgently: re!

美人魚抬頭，看見天空刷出一道光——雷電來了。
She looked up and saw a flash across the sky—lightning.

她把時鐘抱得更緊，伸手指向雷電。
She hugged the clock tighter and pointed at the lightning.

又一把鑰匙掉下來：re。
Another key fell out: re.

美人魚握住鑰匙，時鐘又唱了一個低低的音：do。
Holding the key, she heard the clock sing a low note: do.

她循著那聲音，看見一群小蝌蚪在水裡擠成一團。
Following the sound, she saw a group of tadpoles huddled together in the water.

美人魚指著蝌蚪，又一把鑰匙掉下來：do。
She pointed at the tadpoles, and another key fell: do.

美人魚問蝌蚪們：你們知道音樂國在哪裡嗎？
She asked the tadpoles, “Do you know where the Music Kingdom is?”

蝌蚪們害怕地說：大雨會把我們沖走！我們要趕緊去小河西！
The tadpoles trembled. “The heavy rain will wash us away! We must hurry to the west side of the stream!”

就在這時，時鐘唱出一個像安慰的音：si。
Just then, the clock sang a comforting note: si.

美人魚立刻說：小河西！別怕，我跟你們一起去。
The mermaid said at once, “The west side of the stream! Don’t be afraid—I’ll go with you.”

她帶著蝌蚪們一起游向小溪比較平靜的地方。
She led the tadpoles, swimming together toward the calmer stream.

又一把鑰匙輕輕掉下來：si。

And one more key fell softly: si.

美人魚打開小袋子，數一數：sol、la、fa、mi、re、do、si，七把鑰匙都齊了。
She opened her pouch and counted: sol, la, fa, mi, re, do, si—all seven keys were complete.

她把七把鑰匙一根一根串起來，像把勇氣串成一對翅膀。
She threaded the seven keys, as if stringing courage into a pair of wings.

她抬起頭，唱出完整的音階：do re mi fa sol la si。
She lifted her head and sang the full scale: do re mi fa sol la si.

忽然，暴雨停了，天空變得好亮。
Suddenly, the storm stopped, and the sky grew bright.

眼前出現一個很大的世界，遠得像夢，亮得像新生。
A vast world opened before her—far like a dream, bright like a new beginning.

她懷裡的時鐘不再滴答。它發出最後一聲溫柔的和弦。
The clock in her arms stopped ticking. It released one last gentle chord.

然後，時鐘化為一位英俊的王子。
Then the clock became a handsome prince.

王子說：謝謝你。你用音樂和勇氣救了我。
“Thank you,” said the prince. “You saved me with music and courage.”

遠方，音樂國像一道光出現，門慢慢打開。
In the distance, the Music Kingdom appeared like a beam of light, and its gate slowly opened.

王子伸出手：你願意和我一起分享美麗的人生嗎？
The prince held out his hand. “Will you share a beautiful life with me?”

美人魚笑了：我願意。
The mermaid smiled. “Yes, I will.”

從此，他們在音樂國展開美麗的人生。
From then on, they began a beautiful life in the Music Kingdom.

點點滴滴，都是音樂的生活。
In every little moment, they lived a life of music.
